The Jefferson County Library in Madras is collecting books, bags and new pajamas for local children in need.
Items donated to the Sweet Dreams program will be distributed to children after a drawing Jan. 21. Any child who visits the library can sign up to be part of the drawing.
Donations can be made to the Jefferson County Library through Jan. 19. If you would like to make a monetary donation, a “secret shopper" will purchase pajamas for the program on your behalf.
