Russell Athletic Bowl, Rutgers vs. Virginia Tech, 2:30 p.m., ESPN: Rutgers (9-3) has won five straight bowl games and is making its eighth bowl appearance in school history. Virginia Tech (6-6) is looking to end its 2012 season on a high note after stumbling to its first single-digit-wins season since 2003.
Meineke Car Care Bowl, Minnesota vs. Texas Tech, 6 p.m., ESPN: The Red Raiders (7-5) return to a bowl after having their 18-season bowl streak snapped last year. The Gophers (6-6) are looking for their first bowl win since 2004.
