James Howard Rader of Bend, OR, died December 19, 2012, at the age of 84. Jim was born June 11, 1928, in Perryville, MO, to Howard and Elsie (Ireland) Rader. He grew up and attended school in Missouri.
On July 22, 1946, he married Norma J. Bauman. Jim served in the United States Navy and in 1963, they relocated to Central Oregon where Jim worked as a rancher and enjoyed his horses and collecting guns.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Rader; daughter, Judy (Robert) Swift; granddaughter, Ashlie (Casey) Usher; brother, Earl Rader; and two half-sisters, Linda Estes and Betty Bultman.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 21, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery.
