Mar. 5, 1953 - Dec. 13, 2012

Trish Johnson was an outgoing and vibrant woman with bright blue eyes and red hair when diagnosed with advanced stage ovarian cancer in January 1997. Never achieving remission all those years, she endured surgeries and chemotherapy treatments and amazed her doctors by surviving for so long while enjoying a blessed quality of life.

Born Patricia Susan Hackney in Burns, Oregon, her family moved to Beaverton where she grew up. After some college, she worked for the C.I.A. in Langley, Virginia for three years in the mid 70s. She moved back to Oregon in 1976, and began a 21 year career as an escrow officer. She and her family (husband, Tim and daughter, Kelsie) moved to Central Oregon in 1994.

She had a gift for making the holidays special and she cherished her family, relatives and the special friendships she had throughout life.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Redmond Memorial Chapel. Please sign our online guestbook www.redmondmemorial.com.
