Community members are invited to purchase books that will be donated to young readers in the local Start Making A Reader Today program.
Between the Covers in Bend is hosting an Angel Tree Book Drive through Dec. 24. Individuals can visit the tree and find a name and select books to give to that child. All of the students attend local elementary schools and are enrolled in the SMART program. Books available for purchase will start at $3.99 and those buying books for children in the program receive 20 percent discounts.
