MEDFORD — Police in Oregon have arrested two women in connection with the shooting death of one of their husbands in northern California last month.
Authorities in Medford say they took 26-year-old Patricia MacCallum and 27-year-old Amber Lubbers into custody on Friday after learning from California investigators that the women may be in the area.
Siskiyou County Sheriff Jon Lopey tells the Medford Mail Tribune that investigators believe the women worked together to fatally shoot 34-year-old Michael Christopher MacCallum, Patricia MacCallum’s husband. His body was left at the base of a steep cliff near Applegate Creek in Northern California last month.
