PORTLAND — An armored car company is offering a maximum $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robber who grabbed two cases of money from an armored car employee in northeast Portland.

Portland police say the Loomis Armored U.S. employee reported that a man grabbed the money and ran off as she was walking from her vehicle to an ATM at a credit union.

Sgt. Pete Simpson described the hard black plastic cases as being similar to shoeboxes. The amount of money in each was not disclosed.
