Chris Stamp, 70: Co-manager of the The Who, Stamp and Kit Lambert were filmmakers who wanted to make a documentary about an obscure band’s struggle in the music world. They saw The Who in 1964, saw the band’s potential and became its managers. Stamp died Nov. 24 in New York City of complications from cancer.
