Police: Drunken driver disrupts MAX service

PORTLAND — Portland police say a drunken driver crashed his Hummer into support poles for the city’s MAX passenger trains, disrupting rail service early Sunday. Brian Edmund Anderson, 38, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. MAX service was restored around 9 a.m.
