Thomas Phillip Trujillo- Hokland was reunited with Jesus in Heaven after celebrating his 16th heart transplant birthday November 15, 2012. In his short stay here on earth, Thomas touched many, many, lives by his smile and his loving, kind, caring, unselfish nature that was on fire for the Lord. All Thomas' treasures are stored up in Heaven, for he truly was not of this world.
Thomas went through life with many medical problems, but never complained and gave all the Glory to God! His biggest concern was everyone's salvation.
He was truly a light of this world, and will shine on forever, all for the Glory of the Lord! He will be missed by everyone.
Thomas is survived by his father and mother, Phillip and Pearl Trujillo, of Bend, OR; brother, Dustin Hokland and sister-in- law, Erin Hokland, of Portland, OR; brother Tim Hokland and fiance Teri Keen, of Beaverton, OR; sister, Leslie Lehnherr, brother-in-law, Charlie Lehnherr, niece, Ashley Lehnherr and nephew, Jacob Lehnherr, all of Bend, OR; grandpa, Felipe Trujillo, of Pueblo, CO; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by grandmother, Pearl Fisher, and grandmother, Gloria Trujillo.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. December 4, 2012, at Victory Baptist Church, 21530 NE Butler Market Road, Bend, OR, with a reception to follow. Contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church Bend, OR, 97701.
