Janet passed away, unexpectedly, at her home in Bend, she was 64. Born in Los Angeles, CA, she moved to Oregon in 1973, and was co-owner of Crane Prairie Resort until 1985. A retired bookkeeper, those that knew her best, knew she was always willing to help; an avid lover of football, the outdoors, she enjoyed hunting but her passion was fishing. Janet is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Schatz of Salem, OR, her son, Wayne Schatz and his wife, Stacey and their daughter, Jewel, of Bend. A private family service will be held at a later date.
