Yvonne Jeanette (Wheeler) Lark of Redmond, OR, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, with whom she had a relationship with since she was a small girl, on Nov. 11, 2012. She was 70.
Yvonne was born on Sept. 11, 1942, in Portland, OR, to Charles and Mina (Neumann) Wheeler.
She earned an associate degree in college, and married Leon Lark in Eugene, OR, on Sept. 21, 1965. She attended Redmond Christian Church.
She is survived by her son, Jason Lark and his wife, Lynn, of Redmond, OR; sister, Glaphire Floth and husband, Mike, of Roseburg, OR; brothers, Larri Wheeler and wife, Carol of Eugene, Calvin Wheeler and wife, Ruth of Meridian, ID; and numerous nephews and nieces to whom she was very special.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, on Nov. 21, 2005; her father, Charles Wheeler; mother, Mina Wheeler-Erskine; stepfather, Glenn Erskine; and a brother, Dwight M. Wheeler.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at Redmond Christian Church, 536 SW 10th St., Redmond.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Redmond Christian Church or the charity of your choice in memory of Yvonne.
