Lucille Bliss, 96: Provided the voice of the cartoon character Crusader Rabbit in the early days of television and gained recognition a generation later as the voice of Smurfette in the 1980s television hit “The Smurfs." Died Nov. 8 in Costa Mesa, Calif.

George “Woody" Clarke, 61:Gained national prominence as the San Diego prosecutor asked by Los Angeles prosecutors to present the crucial but highly complex DNA evidence during the O.J. Simpson murder trial. Died Tuesday in San Diego.

Cleve Duncan, 78: Lead singer for the Penguins whose soaring tenor voice helped propel the 1954 doo-wop ballad “Earth Angel (Will You Be Mine)" to rock ’n’ roll immortality, selling over 10 million copies. Died Nov. 7 in Los Angeles.
