William (Lee) Leroy Lane, age 63, of Bend, passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2012, of a heart attack.
He was born in Arkansas on Aug. 22, 1949, and has resided in Bend since 1978.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he earned the Honor of a Purple Heart. He was most recently employed as a clerk at St. Charles Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Char. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Gnehm; three children, Renee (Jason) Stinar of Boise, ID, Michelle Lane of Boise, ID, Michael (Wendi) Lane of Phoenix, AZ; and six grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012, at 4:00 p.m., at Kelly D's, 1012 SE Cleveland, Bend, Oregon 97702.
