Roger Wood, 87: Former executive editor of The New York Post who promoted a feisty, titillating portrayal of New York City that helped more than double the paper’s circulation. Died Friday of cancer at his home in Manhattan.
Teri Shields, 79: Stage mother who began promoting her daughter, Brooke, as a model/actress when she was an infant. Died Wednesday in Manhattan of dementia-related illness.
