Paul Fraser, age 65, of Odessa, Texas, passed from this life at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

He was born in Bend, OR to John P. Cook and Mary L. (Zevely) Fraser. He graduated from Bend Senior High, Class of 1965 and

honorably served during Vietnam on the USS Ranger.

He was a songwriter and co-authored the classic song, "Amarillo By Morning". Paul was a passionate musician, artist and patriot of American Freedom and Liberty.

He is survived by wife, Pamela of Odessa, TX; daughter, Donna Elliott and her husband, Eric of Fort Worth; two sons, Joe Fraser and Scott Fraser and his wife, Hilda, all of Odessa; son, John Cameron (Fraser) Coxey and wife, Emily, and grandson, Hunter Allan Coxey, all of Bend, OR; brother, Oliver Fraser, Jr. of Eugene, OR;

At his request no services will be held.
