Richard Whitney Lusk, 95, formerly of Laguna Beach, CA, passed away on Oct. 17, 2012.
He was born July 7, 1917, in Colorado Springs, CO, to Dewitt Clinton Lusk and Elsie Morena Whitney Lusk. He lived most of his life in Southern California before moving to Bend, OR, in 2010 to be close to his sister and family in his retirement years.
Richard served in the Army Engineer Corp during World War II and had a tour in Guada Canal. He worked for Bridgeport Brass and then went on to establish his own company, Lusk Metals in the City of Industry, CA, until retiring in 1988.
Dick was married for over 35 years to Loris Vera Eddy (Decd 1996) and for a time to Margaret Roberts Murdy (Decd 2006).
Survivors include his son, Richard; and two grandchildren, (Hayden and Whitney) of Chiang Mai, Thailand; sister, Jane Hooper of Bend; numerous nephews and nieces, as well as grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
