A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sat., Oct. 20, at Springfield Memorial Gardens for M. Mae Keeney of Troutdale, OR, formerly of Redmond (and Pleasant Hill, OR) who died Oct. 5, 2012, of age related causes. She was 95.
Mae was born April 17, 1917, in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Henry Wilburn and Ada Victora Miller. She married Joab Keeney on March 18, 1940, in Aztec, New Mexico. He preceded her in death January 3, 1983.
Mae was an outstanding homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by all of her sisters and brothers, Ruby of Cheyenne, OK, Ruth of Farmington, NM, Raymond of New Haven, CT, Wilburn of Farmington NM, Loreen of Modesto, CA and two sisters who died quite young, Myrtle and Evelyn.
She is survived by one son, H. Leon Keeney and wife, Carol of Harrisburg, OR; one daughter, Joan W. Moeler and husband, Robert of Troutdale, OR. Also survived by five grandchildren, Daren Keeney and wife, Christy of Eugene; Dylan Keeney and wife, Dawn of Pleasant Hill; Scott Packhurst and wife, Ngh of Long Beach, CA; Becky Waugh and husband, Jerry of Bend, OR; and Donette Sparks. Five step-grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
