• Roughriders pick up first win: The Bend Rugby Club won for the first time in the 2012-13 season on Saturday, defeating the Rogue Valley Rugby Club 36-17 in Bend. Joel Abbott and Mike Gamm led the Roughriders with two tries apiece, while Mike Hunter added a try, three conversions and a penalty kick. Peter Liddell also had a conversion. Bend Rugby Club, now 1-5 overall, 1-2 in the Pacific Northwest Rugby Football Union Division III standings, is off until the season resumes in February.
