Say a little prayer for me: Mike Gallagher, of Redmond, shot this picture of a praying mantis with his Nikon D5000 on a macro setting while hiking the Broken Top Trail recently. “Near the high point at 8,200 feet," Gallagher wrote, “we came across this little guy I call Sam seemingly joining our group, awed by the panoramic views of the Three Sisters and the crater lake below. No fear, he/she patiently posed for my photos."
