St. Charles Health System, which owns hospitals in Bend and Redmond, and representatives of the Oregon Nurses Association have reached a tentative agreement on a three-year contract for the nurses who work at St. Charles Bend, according to a news release issued this morning.
Negotiations for the nurses’ labor contract started in May, and nurses conducted an informational picket outside the hospital in September, according to The Bulletin’s archives.
Union members are expected to vote on the agreement in the coming weeks, according to the news release.
