Born January 18, 1919, at Lexington, OR, to George W. and Dora Hux Cork. Nona grew up in Kimberly, OR, and she attended schools in both Kimberly and Monument, OR. Nona and her family moved to Central Oregon in 1935.
She married Richard Frogge on November 8, 1938. They had two daughters, Lois Crow and Shirley Orrick. She leaves one daughter, Lois of Dallas, OR, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Nona was preceded in death by her husband; mother; father; and brothers, Dale and Norman Cork; sister, Eileen Cork; and daughter, Shirley Orrick.
Funeral services are being held on Friday, October 14, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at Deschutes Mausoleum Chapel with private interment at Deschutes Memorial Gardens.
