Eaton parade details released

A parade honoring Olympic gold medalist Ashton Eaton on September 23 will start at 1 p.m. at Bond Street and Franklin Avenue in Bend. “The Parade of Olympians" will go up Bond Street, turn at Oregon Street and continue down Wall Street to the Tower Theatre.

The parade will conclude with a program in front of the theater.

Youths 10 and under will be able to take a short run afterwards with Eaton, the Mountain View High graduate who won the decathlon at the London Olympics. No registration is necessary.
