Mike and Connie (Lyon) Connell, of Bend, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary July 1.
The couple were married July 1, 1972, at St. Bruno’s Church in Whittier, Calif. They have three children, Ryan, of Portland, and Kevin and Marcy, both of Bend; and one grandchild.
They have lived in Central Oregon for 38 years.
