As part of a new test program, the Oregon Liquor Control Commission on Thursday approved the sale of beer and wine at the west Bend liquor store on Southwest Century Drive, according to a news release.
A division of the OLCC took applications from all liquor store agents around the state, and commissioners chose one per region to participate in the program, spokeswoman Christie Scott wrote in an email. Previously, state liquor stores sold liquor and nonalcoholic products.
