Here’s a story you don’t hear every day: The Hollands! (the ! is part of their name) are a family band — father, mother, son, daughter — who have decided to pull up whatever roots they have and become a full-time touring act.

The band has toured through Central Oregon several times, including frequent stops in Sisters. And since October, they’ve been staying in Sisters to “connect with fans, family and finish our bus project,” according to the mom of the group, Jana Holland. That project has a name: Celu’haven, a tour bus and rolling home that will take the family to Washington, California, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado over the next couple of months. (The Hollands! will also tour Australia in March and April.)

Jana’s the primary vocalist in The Hollands!; hers is a sturdy and stirring voice that carries the band’s memorable melodies with ease. Her husband, Craig, is a former punk who brings out the quartet’s global (Celtic, gypsy folk, etc.) flavor. Rounding out the lineup is 15-year-old daughter Graciana on vocals and 10-year-old son Banjo, a percussionist.

On Sunday, The Hollands! will launch their “From Here // To There” tour at the Sisters High School auditorium before heading out, as a unit, into the great big world. They plan to be back in the fall, said Jana, but go sing along and wish them good luck and safe travels, won’t you?

The Hollands!; 7 p.m. Sunday, doors open 6:30 p.m.; $10 adults, $5 students, available in advance at http://thehollandsfromheretothere .eventbrite.com; Sisters High School, 1700 W. McKinney Butte Road; www .thehollands.org.
