Bend's Sara McCarthy, a 24-year-old member at Bend Golf and Country Club, won our grand prize drawing after being one of more than 200 golfers to fill out The Bulletin's survey on the region's best hole.

McCarthy, an ultrasound technician and clinical researcher, filled her card out on the same day she scored her first-ever birdie at Bend Golf and Country Club, which came on the par-3 sixth hole. So it should be no surprise what her favorite was: Bend's sixth.

“Of course that was my favorite hole,” says McCarthy, a 16 handicap who won a two-night stay on the Oregon Coast.
