Attention skiers, snowboarders and other winter-activity enthusiasts: The Mostest wants your help.
And you want The Mostest’s help. Because the friendly local jam-rockers are ready for snow.
To that end, the band is playing the Pray For Powder Snow Ball tonight at Silver Moon Brewing & Taproom. Members of the alpine, nordic and snowboard communities in Bend are encouraged to show up, drink beer, dance and pay homage to Ullr, the Norse god of high-mountain snows.
Folks dressed in all white will receive “special honors” and those sporting old-school mountain gear will be invited to dance onstage with the band. Sounds sweaty! There will also be door prizes throughout the night.
The Mostest will include regulars Mark Ransom, Lindsey Elias and Patrick Pearsall, plus new guy Brad Jones on keys. The band will record the show for possible inclusion in a free Internet release of live cuts.
