Local rock band Ruckus makes the rounds at Central Oregon's nightclubs, bouncing between The Owl's Nest in Sunriver and Crossings Lounge at The Riverhouse in Bend, plus oodles of private functions here and elsewhere.
This weekend, though, they're doing it for the kids.
Tonight and Saturday night, Ruckus will perform their well-played mix of rock, pop and blues hits from the past few decades at Crossings Lounge, and they'll conduct a toy drive for the local chapter of Toys for Tots. Just show up, toss a fun (new, unwrapped) toy in the box, and take in sounds ranging from Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top to Bonnie Raitt and No Doubt.
Good times, good cause and all that stuff. And there's no cover! You cannot go wrong here.
