Gwendolyn Louise Wilson, 62, long time resident of Bend, died on Monday in her home of natural causes.
She was born in Colorado on November 10, 1947, and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and cross-stitch. She loved animals and spent her life raising and caring for them.
She is survived by her daughter, Deanna Wilson of Bend, Oregon; son, Allen Wilson; and daughter-in-law, Tangee Wilson of Charlotte NC. Additionally she has three grandchildren, Matthew Wilson of Elkins WV, Krystina Taylor and Amanda Taylor of Charlotte NC.
She is also survived by her sister, Lynna Bates of Sacramento CA and Davis Painter of Grants Pass, OR. She is preceded in death by her sister, Laura Taylor of Sacramento CA; sister, Gay Borgesi of Sacramento, CA; and brother, Daniel Painter of California.
A private service for immediate family will be held Saturday morning. A wake will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, November 21, from 3pm to 6pm, at the home of Deanna. Please call 541-977-0119 for details.
