Paul "P.D." DeeClark Foster

July 2, 1924 - November 4, 2009

Paul "P.D." DeeClark Foster went to be with his Lord on November 4, 2009. He was born July 2, 1924 in McGehee, AR to Elbert and May Hickingbotham Foster. Upon his mothers death, he was raised by his Aunt Laura.

After serving in the US Coast Guard during World War II, he met and married Marie Kinkaid, Dec. 14, 1945. He went to work as a fireman in Monroe, LA before moving to Houston, TX in 1951. After working 40 years as a switchman for Houston Belt & Terminal Railroad, he retired only to work for the Houston Astrodome. There he was able to enjoy watching his beloved Houston Astros & Oilers play. The last nine years, he enjoyed being a Wal-Mart Greeter in Pearland, TX. He truly loved helping people.

He was a devoted husband of almost 64 years to Marie Foster. He was so loved by his two daughters and their husbands, Joan & Mitch Buckley, and Lisa & Sean Mahoney. He was "Paw-Paw" to his six grandchildren, Steve, Jeff, Penny and Paige Buckley, Jennifer and Jesse Tegge; nine great-grand- children, Landon, Luke, Lauren, Ethan, Lillian, Anthony, Aubrey, Christian and Shawnie.

To most, Paul was a quiet man who liked to tease and make you laugh. He was good to his Marie and the best Daddy and Paw-Paw ever. We will miss that twinkle in his eye.

Paul Foster
