A former Redmond resident was among those wounded in Thursday's shooting spree that killed 13 and wounded 30 at a Texas Army base. Shawn Manning, 33, was shot six times during the attack at Fort Hood, Texas, according to his aunt, JoDeen Ridgway of Prineville. Manning spoke to relatives this morning, Ridgway said, and his father, Larry Manning, left Redmond to travel to Texas to see his son.
