Gladys Marie Tuckfield of Redmond, died on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2009, at the age of 87 years. She was born in DeKalb, Texas to parents, Ones and Amy Ruth (Carter) Marbut.
She married Frank Gordon on Nov. 8, 1937, in WA.
He proceeded her in death in 1960. On July 1, 1962, she was united in marriage to Joe Tuckfield. He also preceded her in death.
Gladys was a housepainter for many years in Redmond and the surrounding area. She loved to garden and had beautiful flowers, she also liked rockhounding.
Gladys leaves two sons, Steve Gordon and wife, Carol and Gary Gordon and wife, Linda, all of Yakima, WA; two daughters, Quilcene Jenkins and husband, Larry of Bolton, MS, and Justine Easlon and husband, Kenny of Powell Butte; two brothers, Don Marbut and wife, Eutha of Mossy Rock, WA and Allyn Marbut and wife, Rita of Texas. There are 14 grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren. Besides both her husbands, she was preceded by one sister and one brother.

Memorial services will be held at Highland Baptist Church in Redmond, on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at 11:00 am.
