For kids: Pumpkin Patch and Field of Screams haunted cornfield

Published: October 31. 2009 4:00AM PST

“I want this one,” says 4-year-old Jenna Creekmore, of La Pine, as she tries to move a large pumpkin at the Pumpkin Patch in Terrebonne on a family trip Friday afternoon. The Pumpkin Patch is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today. Later, bigger kids (and adults) can enter a cornfield haunted by ghouls and monsters at the “Field of Screams.” From 7 to 10 p.m., the cornfield will be guarded by a haunted cargo ship, trolls, witches and a headless horseman, along with other scary creatures.
