Wilford "Bill" Newman passed away Friday, October 16, 2009, in Bend, Oregon. He was 75. Bill was born in Seneca, Oregon on November 20, 1933, to parents, Tom and Velma (Pynes) Newman.

He served in the Air Force.

Bill was a construction superintendent. He retired in 1995. He loved golf, hunting, fishing, camping, and woodworking.

Bill is survived by his wife, Donnella Newman of Bend, OR; son, Steve Newman of Redmond, OR; daughter, Sheryl Knuckles of Bend, OR; brother, Al Newman of John Day, OR; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
