Richard was born in Astoria, Oregon. Graduated Wilson High School in 1963.

He loved hunting, fishing, playing cards and warm Mexico.

He is survived by his mother, Irene; daughter, Janet; son-in-law, Jim; son, Mick; daughter-in-law, Tish; grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon, Tyler; brothers, Glen and Ralph.
