Carl Raymond, of La Pine, passed away Oct. 10, 2009 of natural causes.
He was born August 21, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut to Beatrice and Sam Raymond.
He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served in Vietnam from 1964 to 1968.
After his tour, he went on to college and graduated with a bachelors degree in business.
He and Kerri were married January 28, 1985 in Phoenix, AZ. Carls occupation was a mechanic, but his interests included hunting, fishing, photography and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Kerri and son, David Raymond. He was preceded in death by both his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on October 18, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home of La Pine, followed by a potluck gathering at 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Deschutes County Search & Rescue; Australian Rescue Placement Helpline; or to the American Legion Post 45.
