Portland-based hip-hop wise guy Josh Martinez was just in Bend a couple months ago, playing the Bendistillery Martini Bar. On Saturday, he'll step up to a considerably bigger venue when he headlines the Domino Room.
Martinez is a jewel of Northwest hip-hop, making his name through melodic beats and a lyrical style that incorporates healthy helpings of hope and humor. He rolls into Bend just off a headlining set at Portland's MusicfestNW and the release of his 2008 album, “The World Famous Sex Buffet,” which features guest turns by indie-big names like Devin the Dude, Pigeon John and Cadence Weapon.
