Attention, fans of The Erins: There are two Erins-related shows this weekend, both of some significance.
First up, tonight at The Summit Saloon & Stage is your last chance of the summer (probably) to catch both Erins — Zurflu and Cole-Baker — playing their harmony-laden alt-folk together. Soon, Erin Zurflu must head back east for medical school, leaving Erin Cole-Baker to play solo.
Which, no doubt, Cole-Baker will handle just fine. She’ll start with a big gig: A free Summer Sunday concert at Les Schwab Amphitheater on Sunday afternoon. There, Cole-Baker will be backed by a band featuring Tom Freedman on bass, Steven Tate on drums and Chris Chabot on guitar and vocals. She also promises to bust out “some banjo and ukelele” for a few tunes.
Cole-Baker is hard at work on a new solo album. Learn more about her at www.erincolebaker.com.
