Lahna Sheryl (Stoddard) Moon, of Bend, died Saturday of breast cancer. She was 57.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Summit Community Church in Bend.

Mrs. Moon was born April 13, 1950, in Hayward, Calif., the daughter of William and Gweneth Stoddard. She graduated from high school in 1968 in Lodi, Calif. She married Richard Moon on Sept. 15, 1990, in Sisters.

Mrs. Moon was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family, travel, reading and writing poetry. She moved to Central Oregon from Northern California in 1988.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Rick, Michael, Raymond and Martel; four daughters, Jenny Morales, Wendy La Rocque, Cindy Orozco and Michelle Collins; a brother, Michael Stoddard; two sisters, Carolyn Mabry and Bess Lane; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Memorial contributions may be made to Central Oregon Home Health and Hospice.
