Laurel Foster and Dr. Wesley Schooler, both of Los Angeles, plan to marry June 14 in Black Butte.
The future bride is the daughter of Ed Beard and Linda Foster-Beard, of Terrebonne. She is a graduate of North Salem High School and attends the University of Southern California, where she is an anesthesia resident.
The future groom is the son of Dr. James and Mignon Schooler, of Durham, N.C. He is a graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Math, and he is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, where he studied medicine. He is a plastic surgeon at the University of Southern California.
