Louise Elizabeth (Winters) Mount, of Redmond, died Jan. 8. She was 83.

Mrs. Mount was born Sept. 24, 1924, in Hugo, Okla., the daughter of Leonard and Maggie (Elkins) Coran. She married William Mount.
Mrs. Mount was a homemaker. She was a member of the International Society of Poets. She enjoyed writing songs, playing instruments and writing poetry.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Ralph Gillespie Jr., of Hudson, Texas; three stepsons, Bill Dunham, David Richie, and Tony, all of Pennsylvania; four daughters, JoAnn Walker, of Terrebonne, Marie Horn-Phillips, of Crooked River Ranch, Jackie Moyes, of Redmond, and Lyn Bocanegra, of Madras; a stepdaughter, Mary Good, of Pennsylvania; a brother, Leonard Coran Jr., of Arkansas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
