Summit teammates rally around in a show of strength for Alyssa O’Connor (center facing) prior to the start of the elite varsity girls race at the Puma Classic cross-country meet at Drake Park in Bend on Saturday. Unsure if she would even race because of an injury, O’Connor dropped out from the race before the finish.
