more photosDallas, Texas, singer-songwriter Kristy Kruger will make two stops in the area this weekend.
The shows are part of Kruger’s tour of all 50 states to remember her brother, Lt. Col. Eric Kruger, who was killed in Iraq in November.
Kruger’s show includes stories and songs about her brother, and folks of all political stripes are welcome. Kruger says she hopes to meet other people who have lost loved ones in the war.
Here are the details:
• Saturday at 1 p.m., Kruger will perform at Sisters Coffee Co., located at 273 W. Hood St., in Sisters.
• Saturday at 7 p.m., Kruger will play at the Historic Redmond Church, at 641 S.W. Cascade Ave., in Redmond.
There is no cover for the shows, but donations to the tour, a fund for Eric Kruger’s children, and a program for wounded veterans will be accepted.
