TOURNAMENTS
Thursdays - Crooked River Rumble at Crooked River Ranch. Weekly tournament series is 18 holes of stroke play each Thursday and includes divisions for gross and net for both women and men. One-time enrollment fee is $50, plus $40 weekly fee that includes $30 for 18 holes of golf with cart. Play any time on Thursdays; call the pro shop for starting times. Aug. 19 - Redmond Education Foundation hosts its fifth annual golf tournament at Eagle Crest Resort's Ridge Course. Sept. 5-7 - Men's Mid-Amateur Championship at Awbrey Glen Golf Club in Bend. Sanctioned by the Pacific Northwest Golf Association, this 54-hole stroke play competition is for amateur players ages 25 years of age or older as of September 5. Handicap limit is 8.4. Field limited to 120 players. Entry fee is $185 and deadline to enter is August 8. To register, entrants must be members in good standing of a PNGA member club. Sept 7-8 - Kah Nee Ta's golf course in Warm Springs will be the site of a two-day pro-amateur tournament, sponsored by the Oregon Chapter of the Pacific Northwest PGA. One pro and three amateurs play 18 holes of golf with scores for team net/gross ball per hole plus individual gross and net contests. Cost is $80 per day for amateurs.
