Leslie Pugmire Hole (Redmond reporter)

Leslie Pugmire Hole covers Redmond for both The Bulletin and the Redmond Spokesman, a weekly paper in Redmond, where she serves as managing editor. She came to journalism late, starting her career at a weekly newspaper on the north Oregon coast after years as a stay-at-home mom and working in the medical field. Pugmire Hole came to Redmond in 2003, covering the community for both The Bulletin and Spokesman as a reporter; in 2004 she was named Spokesman editor. In 2010 she co-authored a book on Redmond history, "Redmond, Oregon: Images of America." When not working, Pugmire Hole can be found exploring odd little corners of Central Oregon, taking photographs or battling her unruly garden.
