Kailey Fisicaro (Education reporter)
Kailey Fisicaro received her B.A. in communication studies and minor in journalism at California State University, Stanislaus in December 2014. There she was a staff writer, news editor, and editor in chief of The Signal, the student-run newspaper. She most recently served as government and politics reporter for TurlockCityNews.com (2013-2014) in her college town. After applying to the Chips Quinn Scholars program, Fisicaro was chosen to receive diversity and multimedia training in Nashville, and later intern at The Bulletin's city desk. Fisicaro comes from Oakdale which sits in the agriculture-heavy valley of Central California. In her free time, she enjoys staying updated on current events by reading and listening to NPR, creating art, attending arts and music events and spending time with her friends, family and Goldendoodle.
